NEW YEAR LIBERATION

As we approach the setting of the decade

Reflection reigns and reveals

that which must be released

The righteous anger of the powerless victim

-- for I am powerful and the creator of my life

The judgment of others’ paths

-- for I do not walk them.

The feelings of scarcity and want

--for abundance and prosperity flow to me

The fear of the unknown

-- for it is only the NOW that can be experienced.

The pursuit of control

-- for it is only in the letting go

That I find the freedom to allow

The current of the Great River

To carry me through each new dawn.
