I have, since I can remember, been a creator. Acting, directing, dancing, singing, teaching, playing, loving...always creating. 

 

From the first time I stepped on stage in kindergarten, through a career on stage and TV, moving into directing, founding a non-profit acting conservatory and teaching, one thing has remained constant:  I have always been a writer. 

 

Oh, no.  That doesn't mean I have books you can pick up and read yet-- that part of my journey is just getting started, and I am thrilled that my children's series has finally seen its first tales published!  But I have created new worlds, poems, plays, and written book and lyrics for two full-length musicals. You may have seen some of the theatrical offerings on stage in NYC or NJ.

And all through this time, people kept saying, "Kathleen, you've got to get published."

I am finally listening.  And oh, what a journey this is!
